Working Out On An Empty Stomach: Helpful Or Harmful ?
We have always heard that we should workout on an empty stomach.
Working out on an empty stomach in the morning is the best way to lose weight, to gain weight and stay fit.
Working out in the morning on an empty stomach is the best thing that you can do.
But do you know, that eating before your workout can give you a lot of energy and improve your performance ?

1. Is it safe to work out on an empty stomach ?
According to some studies, workng out on an empty stomach is the right thing to do.
But, if you workout/exercise on an empty stomach, you actually starts losing and burning your energy.
You have less stamina, low blood sugar levels plus you may experience nausea and shivering too while working out without eating.
On the other hand, if you keep working out on an empty stomach, you and your body may get used to it plus you may start burning more and more fat.
2. Can i really lose weight working out on an empty stomach ?
It has been proved that workout on an empty stomach helps you with weight loss.
But it can also cause you to use energy from protein sources, which means you have less protein to build and repair muscles.
3. When to eat ?
It depends on the type of exercise you are doing.
Of course you can eat something light if you are going to do some light and easy exercise.
Eating heavy meals before working out may lead to vomiting and some other health issues.
The best thing to do is to eat something 2 to 3 hours before you start working out.
4. Stay hydrated while working out
Always keep a bottle of water or some fresh healthy juice. Drink it if your body demands for it while you are working out.
5. What should i eat ?
Take a lot of carbs and protein. Eating fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat and fish is going to help you with your workout.
Follow a healthy diet. Eat a lot of salad and nuts.
Eat boiled vegetbales if you can.
