Many children are spending a lot of time using mobile phones during this lockdown.




On the other hand there are some children who are using the internet, watching videos, chatting or playing games non stop on their mobile phones during this lockdown.

Poor body postures, lying down on their bed or couch etc, may lead to a lot of health problems.

Dryness n eyes, impact on spine structure, neck pain etc.

Wrong body postures and long screen time affect the thoracic spine, cervical spine and commonly lower back and upper spine.

Not just these children but many adults are also doing the same thing during this lockdown.

Long screen time can also create problems for your eyes.



The doctors have advised that yoga, exercise and being physically active is something that people should definitely do during this lockdown.


Parents should be careful if their children are using mobile phones too much during this lockdown.

What To Do ?


Make a time table, follow a healthy and a happy routine. Let your children use mobile phones for a short peroid of time.

Tell them that there are a lot of disadvantages of using mobile phones for a long time of a period.

Do This :

Instead of using this silly box( mobile phone) day and night, let your children do the following:




  • Tell them to draw something.
  • Tell you children that using your mobile for a long time of a period will kill its battery life.
  • Tell your child that using a mobile phone for a long time of a period can damage their mobile forever.
  • Play indoor games with your children.
  • Lets do some cooking or just let you children watch you cooking something tasty for them.
  • Lets do some gardening.
  • Exercise, yoga, meditation. (Do these things at home with your children).
  • Ask your children to sing.
  • Ask or help your children to clean their room.
  • Read a story or comic book.
  • Play guitar or any other instrument with your child.
  • Show them your old photographs.
  • Tell them some interesting things about your childhood.
  • Study.
  • Feed animals or birds.

Nott just children but adults should also understand that long screen time can ruin your health.

And not just during this lockdown but learn to use your mobile phone in a limit. Because too much of anything is never good.




Change your child`s routine.

Try to focus on the other things and use your mobile for a short period of time only.

Stay safe.
