TikTok Has Launched A New Campaign To Curb Covid Fake News, ropes in Sara Ali Khan, Virat Kohli, Kriti Sanon & Ayushmann Khurrana
TikTok has almost 200 million users in India.
It is a very famous short video making platform.
TikTok said that it has launched a new campaign urging its users to be very careful with the content they are creating and sharing to ensure that these content creaters do not spread any misinformation or wrong information related to coronavirus.

This new campaign has actually created by Anurag Basu, featuring some very famous celebrities named Sara Ali Khan, Virat Kohli, Kriti Sanon & Ayushmann Khurrana.
TiTok says " fake news is very harmful, it can even ruin lives".
TikTok gave a statement that it has launched its Public Service Announcement (PSA) titled #MatKarForward to help raise awareness among the digital community around creation and sharing of misinformation.
This campaign will get telecast live on social media handles and tv channels on Monday.
In fact i just saw this campaign on my Television an hour ago, before writing this article.

The government has also asked TikTok and other social media platforms to remove such fake and misleading videos and messages spreading musinformation and fear in people.
TikTok has also created a 'Misleading Information' category, along with a COVID-19 sub-category, within the in-app reporting feature to curb the misinformation amid coronavirus pandemic.
