People With This Type Of Blood Group Can Suffer More With COVID-19


 A recent study in China suggests that people with blood type A might be more vulnerable to the coronavirus infection.

 And if you have an O blood group, in that case there are very less chances that Covid-19 will affect you.

 The study found that people with blood type A showed at higher risk of getting this infection. People with blood type A had more symptoms of covid-19.

The research was led by Wang Xinghuan from the Centre for Evidence-Based and Translational Medicine at the Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University.

 He said that People of blood group A might need particularly strengthened personal protection to reduce the chance of infection. Sars-CoV-2-infected patients with blood group A might need to receive more vigilant surveillance and aggressive treatment.

 According to one latest report, people with blood type O were less likely to catch the infection.


    Researchers have also found that, around 41 % of COVID-19 patients had blood type A, and on the other hand people with type O accounted for only 25 %.

     But there is no need to panic if your blood group is A. Having an A blood group doesn`t mean you will get affected 100%.

     And if you are type O, it does not mean you are absolutely safe.
    You just need to take a lot of precautions to avoid covid-19. Wear a mask and avoid visiting any public place. Avoid shaking hands with others. Stay clean and follow a healthy lifestyle. Stay home if possible.
