  For now India is the only country in the world where it has been successful in separating these new strains of coronavirus.  The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) gave this information on Saturday.  ICMR tweeted that India has successfully 'cultured' a new strain of corona virus that has surfaced in Britain.  Culture is a process by which cells are grown under controlled conditions and usually outside their natural environment.
